DEPARTMENT OF NUTRITION AND AQUATIC FEED
Development history:
The Department of Nutrition and Aquatic Feed was established on March 5, 2015 on the basis of the Faculty of Fisheries.
Training mission:
The department is in charge of teaching subjects for 2 undergraduate majors (Aquaculture, Aquatic Pathology), 2 National Aquaculture Master's majors and 2 International Master of Aquaculture (International Master of Aquaculture) and International Master of Food Science and Technology, teaching many other subjects for the faculties of Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Medicine, Environment, Pedagogy, Biotechnology, Food Technology...
- Subjects taught:
+ University: including 12 majors: Nutrition and Aquatic feed, Preservation and processing of aquatic products, Aquatic animals, Aquatic plants, Fresh food production techniques, Law and policy on fisheries development, Traceability of aquatic products, Fisheries, Estuary ecosystems, Diseases due to nutrition, environment and predators , General aquaculture, Aquaculture techniques specialties.
+ Master of Aquaculture in the country: teaching 3 subjects: Research methods in aquaculture, Technology of processing and producing aqua feed, Technology of harvesting and preserving aquatic products.
+ Master of Food Technology in the country: Technology of harvesting, preserving and processing aquatic products.
+ International Master of Aquaculture: Aquaculture nutrition and feed.
+ Master of Food Science and Technology: Preservation and processing technology for fishery products.

Strengths of the Department
Research and technology transfer in the field of production of fresh food and industrial feed for aquatic animals.
Research subjects are the strength of the subject: microalgae, moina, food for tilapia, carp, salmon.
